I purchased this to share with my nephew on Christmas Eve. The story is the traditional "Twas the Night Before Christmas" poem in an illustrated, digital version for kids. The book has a twist on the usual telling of the story by casting the family visited by St. Nick as a family of bears. The illustrations are bright and lush - visually interesting and appealing to young kids. The quality of the illustrations is very well done and beautifully detailed. There is only one or two sentences per page so the book has a lot of illustrations, 29 pages total. The font is readable and even enlarges when you tap on it, which is great for beginning readers. The book itself looks great on my retina iPad. I remember reading it with family around the fire before bed on Christmas Eve and can't wait to share the tradition with my young nephew.

Have you ever read a bedtime story to a child, only to see the twinkle in their eye as they gradually drifted off to sleep? I have and I do every night to my daughter.

She absolutely loves the artwork and clever rhymes in this story. I have only recently stumbled upon this book, but from this day forward every year around Christmas time, I will read this to my little girl as she drifts off to sleep.

Read the book, real fast, amazing I LOVED IT, my nephew loves it. The first I read this too him the next day he told me he had a dream about the story I read to him the other night. The funny thing about this was that I had a dream the following day about this and loved it. Made me feel like a little kid again haha.

Next time you want to read a story where you can have a lot of your little ones to listen to you and enjoy what you have to say I would say read this book.

Well written book. This is the perfect book for all children. My daughter and son love to read this book. "The Night Before Christmas" is a great book where we have got so much information about the Christmas what I would not know before. What I have learned reading this book will help me to make happier the young children in my family as well as the neighbors. So I recommend for all of you to get this book before Christmas to know how Santa visits all family with gifts for children. So every parent should purchase this book for their children's.
What a gorgeous little book. I bought it for my five year old grandson, and he loved it. The words are simple enough that he can read them by himself, and the illustrations are just lovely. Very vibrant, and the bear family makes for a lovely twist on an old tale. We liked it very much. (Nana and Eryk)
I brought my nephew to work today. Not much to do in the office. So I got this book on my cloud reader. He was entertained for a good amount of time. He loved the bears. He went back and forth between the pages looking at all the art work. He loved it. And I loved being able to get some work done without answering 50 questions. He is still looking at the reindeer names and pointing them out.
